Jaipur, 15th Oct. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed serious concerns regarding the “growing threat of demographic disorder” in India, likening its consequences to that of a nuclear bomb.
Speaking at a program in Jaipur, Dhankhar highlighted how “demographic dislocation” is transforming certain regions into political strongholds, undermining the essence of democracy.
Echoing sentiments previously shared by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, who discussed the impact of infiltration from Bangladesh during the annual Vijayadasahmi rally, Dhankhar stated that some areas are becoming impenetrable fortresses where elections lose their significance. He cautioned against strategic demographic changes that threaten the nation’s values and civilizational ethos.
Emphasizing the importance of shared cultural heritage, the Vice President called for an “ideological and mental counter-attack” against forces attempting to undermine it. He described the need for unity among the majority population, promoting a cohesive society that transcends divisions of caste, creed, and culture.
Highlighting the fragility of India’s developmental journey, Dhankhar warned that social unity is essential for sustained economic progress. He criticized those in politics prioritizing personal gain over national interests, urging vigilance against divisive elements that threaten the fabric of society.
Concluding his remarks, Dhankhar stressed the importance of upholding the rule of law and called for a political process that emanates from the people, ensuring a stable and prosperous future for Bharat.
