New Delhi, 21st Feb. In a significant exchange aimed at fostering global collaboration and academic discourse, a delegation of students from Nalanda University, representing 11 countries including India, met with Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, at the Parliament House in New Delhi today.
The meeting was facilitated by an invitation extended by the Vice-President during his previous visit to the esteemed institution.
The diverse delegation encompassed students hailing from Bhutan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Nepal, Argentina, Kenya, Thailand, and Uganda, underscoring the university’s international appeal and its role as a hub for cross-cultural exchange and learning.
He urged the students to uphold and expand upon this legacy, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.
Accompanying the delegation were three esteemed faculty members of Nalanda University: Dr. B.C. Ambika Prasad Pani, Dr. Pooja Dabral, and Dr. Tosabanta Padhan, who provided valuable insights and guidance to the visiting students.
During the interaction at the Parliament House, the Vice-President emphasized the pivotal role of the students as custodians of peace, progress, and sustainable development.
