Viksit Rajasthan Has Key Role in Building a Viksit India: PM Modi

Jaipur, 16th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Rajasthan’ program via video conferencing, marking a significant milestone in the state’s development.

During the event, the Prime Minister inaugurated, dedicated to the nation, and laid the foundation stone of multiple projects valued at over Rs 17,000 crore. These projects span across various critical sectors, including Roads, Railways, Solar Energy, Power Transmission, Drinking Water, and Petroleum & Natural Gas.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude to the lakhs of people from all constituencies of Rajasthan who participated in the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Rajasthan’ program. He commended the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for leveraging technology to unite all beneficiaries under one platform. Reflecting on the recent visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Rajasthan, PM Modi highlighted the state’s warm hospitality, echoing beyond India’s borders.

PM Modi emphasized that the present era represents a golden period for India, marked by a focus on development rather than despair. He reiterated the commitment to the ‘Viksit Bharat’ mission, aimed at fostering prosperity in every household. The Prime Minister underscored the pivotal role of Rajasthan in the nation’s development, emphasizing the need for rapid progress in essential sectors like rail, road, electricity, and water.

Discussing infrastructure development, PM Modi highlighted the unprecedented investment in rural roads, highways, and expressways in Rajasthan over the past decade. He emphasized the importance of connectivity in promoting economic growth and announced projects aimed at improving transportation links across various cities in the state.

On the energy front, Prime Minister Modi outlined initiatives to promote solar energy generation at the household level, including the PM Surya Ghar Yojna. He stressed the government’s commitment to providing affordable solar panels to millions of households, enhancing energy access and affordability.

PM Modi also reiterated the government’s focus on empowering youth, women, farmers, and the poor, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling promises made to these sections of society. He highlighted various welfare schemes and initiatives undertaken to improve the lives of citizens across Rajasthan.

In conclusion, PM Modi urged citizens to support the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Viksit Rajasthan,’ emphasizing the need for collective efforts to achieve these goals. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Governor of Rajasthan, Chief Minister, Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and local-level representatives.
