New Delhi, 2nd Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended warm greetings to citizens across the country on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “Vijaya Dashami celebrates the triumph of good and righteousness over evil and falsehood. May courage, wisdom and devotion always guide our paths. Wishing my fellow Indians a happy Vijaya Dashami.”
Sharing his greetings in Hindi as well, he wrote, “विजयादशमी बुराई और असत्य पर अच्छाई और सत्य की विजय का प्रतीक है। मेरी कामना है कि इस पावन अवसर पर हर किसी को साहस, बुद्धि और भक्ति के मार्ग पर निरंतर अग्रसर रहने की प्रेरणा मिले। देशभर के मेरे परिवारजनों को विजयादशमी की बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं।”
Vijaya Dashami, also known as Dussehra, marks the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana and symbolises the triumph of truth and virtue over deceit and evil. The festival is celebrated across India with devotion and cultural festivities.
