Vice-president state congress Jot Singh Bisht distributes Covid-19 Kit on his own expense to the infected villagers in Dhanaulti assembly constituency

Dhanaulti, 25th May. The state Congress president Jot Sigh Bisht has come up with a novel idea of helping the people infected with Covid 19 Virus and are in quarantine at homes in various villages under Dhanaulti assembly segment.

Jot Singh Bisht has prepared more than 200 Covid 19 Kits as per the Covid 19 guidelines and distributing it to the villagers in the assembly segment following the Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.
Jot Singh Bisht from past two days has been working o preparing more than 200 Covid 19 kits which include 7 Masks, A 100 ml bottle of sanitiser for ten days Two packets of fruit Juice, two packets of Ayurvedic medicine to boost immunity 7 Giloi tablets for 15 days etc. These kits after being prepared are distributed to the infected person in various villages in such a way that social distancing is maintained.
200 kits have been distributed in various villages along with a swarojgaar brochure in villages namely Banali, Mahgaon, Dhanaulti Kasyud etc wherever the people are under quarantine said State Congress vice-president Jot Singh Bisht.
“The only problem we are facing is availability of the data of the infected person which is not being provided to us by the department concerned” said Bisht.
He also alleged that it seems the department is hiding the facts and is not divulging the true number of the infected persons added Bisht. He said that the Senior officials are not picking up the phone to clarify the situation.
The idea came when a person called him that they were facing shortage of the kits in their village. The party workers including the Gambhir Sigh the block president are supporting him in this drive that has been launched to provide relief to the Covid 19 infected persons. So far, no help from any organisation has been solicited and we are doing it at our own expense said Jot Singh Bisht. The villagers have commended this effort of the state congress vice president Jot Singh Bisht for rising above the petty politics. He is also distributing the brochure prepared by him to create awareness towards the self-employment activity the villagers can take up in their village to earn livelihood from their homes.
