Varanasi, 25th Feb. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday (February 25) escaped unhurt when his car met with a minor accident in Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
According to officials, Manoj Sinha’s car hit an iron pillar on the roadside. The left side of the car was damaged and a tyre punctured in the accident near Rajghat bridge in Varanasi.
There were no injuries to the Lieutenant Governor or any member of his entourage, they said.
Sinha proceeded towards his destination in another car in the carcade.
Manoj Sinha, after attending important meetings in Jammu, was on an official visit to poll-bound state Uttar Pradesh.
