New Delhi, 22nd Sept: Vandana Gupta officially assumed charge as Controller General of Communication Accounts (CGCA), New Delhi today, following her elevation to the Apex Grade.
A 1990 batch officer of the Indian Post & Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service (IP&TAFS), Gupta has an extensive career spanning key positions in Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat Circles, as well as at the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Headquarters and the Department of Posts (DoP).
On central deputation, she has served in prominent roles including Principal Director at GASAB, Office of CAG, Delhi, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD), Joint Secretary at the National Commission for Women (NCW), and Controller of Finance at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).
Her appointment as CGCA marks a significant step in her distinguished career, bringing decades of administrative and financial expertise to the apex position overseeing communication accounts in India.
