Uttarakhand health bulletin: 3658 positive cases, 80 deaths, 8006 recovered

Dehradun, 21th May. According to the health bulletin released by the Uttarakhand health department, 3658 positive cases were recorded on Wednesday while 8006 recovered from the covid 19 infections and the number of deaths was 80 persons.

The active Cases were 68643 with sample positivity was at 6.91% and the total cumulative Positive COVID-19 cases detected was at 303940. . The total number of COVID-19 Patients Treated/ Cured was 224535 (73.87%). The total Number (%) of COVID-19 patients who migrated out of state was 5278 (1.74%) while the total number (%) of COVID-19 Deaths was 5484 (1.74%) The number of samples found negative for COVID-19 today was.31186, the total number of samples sent for COVID-19 testing today was 26414. The total number of cumulative samples found negative was 4097561. The Total number of samples result from awaited was 14594 and Recovery Percentage was 73.87 %.
At Chamoli 205 persons were found positive and the direct health team has begun the treatment. Till now 9771 people have been infected with the Covid-19 virus. Out of which 7188 people have been recovered and 2366 cases are active.
The district administration is constantly sensitising the people of the district to maintain physical distance and wear masks to avoid infection. Samples of all suspects are being collected by the health department on the directions of the District Magistrate Swati Bhadauria. Covid tests are also being conducted with rapid antigen and true-nat machines at Gauchar, Karnprayag and Joshimath including district hospitals. Samples of 1626 persons were sent for examination on Thursday. Samples of 138838 persons have been tested from the district so far. Out of which 129067 samples were found negative and 9771 samples were found positive and the report 994 people are awaited.
Mobile teams of the health department are going from village to village and conducting Covid-19 virus tests Health teams on Wednesday collected samples of 1233 villagers from different villages. So far, rapid antigen tests of 1829 people have been conducted at Gauchar barrier, 920 at Gairsain barrier and 73 at Gwaldam barrier. 53 patients are currently admitted at the Covid Centre for treatment of covid infection. In addition, 1165 patients have been sent home for isolation. Health care of home isolation and care is being through ASHA, Anganwadi and Village Pradhans in the village. Watch on the Covid infection from various areas is also being monitored by block and city response teams in Chamoli district.
In Pauri district, 14 people were found to be infected with the Covid-19 virus IN Paidel Village in Banelsyun Patti in Pauri tehsil which has been declared as a micro containment zone by SDM Bahrsyun.
Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande District Magistrate Pauri Garhwal said that as a result of necessary protective measures in the public interest and in accordance with the laid down Covid 19 guidelines Village Padul Patti Banelsyun-02 Tehsil Pauri District Garhwal, has been declared as micro containment zone by SDM Bahrsyun Pauri Shyam Singh Rana. At Tehri district 289 Covid 19 new positive cases were reported, and the total figure has reached 13116. The active cases stood at 3785 while 9281 people recovered and went home. Presently 184497 samples have been taken out of which 102354 reports were negative while 3203 results are awaited. 3346 people have been quarantined at home and the number of micro containment zone is 57. The number of vaccination centre is at 19 in the district and 1066 people were vaccinated on Thursday the total number of vaccinated people stood at 97693 while a number of people vaccinated above 18 years stood at 10399.
In Dehradun district, Antigen samples were collected from Maindreth in Tyuni, Chatra, Ghwera, in Kalsi, Purodi, Goshan, Thatyudain CSC Kalsi, CSC Vikas Nagar, Sahspur Bhauwala, Reshamari in Doiwala and Muldhar. Out of 364 samples 24 were found positive in Chakrata, 14 out of 270 in Tyuni, 2 out of 347 in Kalsi, 4 out of 102 in Vikasnagar, 26 out of 233 in Shaspur, 2 out of 82 in Doiwala were found positive.
It was informed in the meeting that antigen samples were obtained at Chakrata, Mandrath in Tuni, Chatra, Ghwera, Purodi in Kalsi, Goshan, Thatuda CSC Kalsi, CSC Vikasnagar, Bhauwala in Sahaspur, Reshammajari in Doiwala, Muldhar, including 364 in Chakrata. From 24 positives, 14 out of 270 positive cases in Tyuni, 02 out of 347 positive cases in Kalsi, 04 positive in 102 in Vikasnagar, 06 out of 233 positive cases in Sahaspur, 02 out of 82 positive cases were found in Doiwala.
DM Dehradun Dr Ashish Shrivastava informed that Sahiya market and Village Kuna in Kalsi Tehsil, village Madhowala Marakhgram 1st, IIRS Kalidas road under Dehradun Municipal corporation, C block Mandakani Vihar lane number 123, Tagore Colony 59 block second Arya Nagar, 190 Model colony Aaraghar, Village Orli in Chakrata Tehsil, Jabru House at Bypass road and a block at Woodstock school
were declared micro containment zones and were under active surveillance for 14 days have been freed from the containment zone.
The DM Dehradun informed that in compliance with the directions of the Government, ration shops, grocery shops and general stores in the district will be open from 7 am to 12 noon from 21st May. He said that 566 people were reported positive in the district and the total has reached 103615 persons out of which 80064 have been sent home after recovery.
Presently, 20217 people are under treatment while 5072 samples were sent for testing. 61944 people were put under surveillance under Asha workers and 53 persons were found infected and were sent for necessary action by the health officials
1910 oxygen cylinders were distributed to hospitals and 165 oxygen cylinders were distributed to common citizens in the district.
219 home isolation kits were distributed by the district administration, 113 by SDRF and 195 in various development blocks in the district.
helpline Call from 13 persons living in home isolation was received at disaster control room out of which 02 calls were from elderly people, while11 calls were from others. 5 calls were received at disaster control. Similarly, today, 198 persons living in home isolation were contacted by the Covid Control Room and collected information about their wellbeing. 1 lakh each ivermectin medicines have been distributed at Chakrata, Kalsi, Vikasnagar, Sahaspur, Raipur and Doiwala blocks in Dehradun district.
At the hill town of Mussoorie as per the information by SDM Mussoorie, Manish Kumar total tests conducted were 27 out of which 17 were RTPCR and 10 were rapid antigen test. There were no positive cases reported with the Antigen test while 21 Covid-9 positive cases were reported with the RTPCR test. The number of micro containment zones is at 12 and 175 persons recovered today. 126 persons were vaccinated today.
