US firm rated Modi as top ‘Democratic Leader” Trump not in top 5

WASHINGTON – US-based business intelligence firm Morning Consult on Saturday named Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi topped the latest ‘Democratic Leader Approval Ratings’ with a 75 per cent approval score, showcased the continued public support he enjoys in his third straight term.

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung was the distant second at 59 per cent approval score in the latest global approval ratings released by the US-based business intelligence firm Morning Consult.

Javier Milei, the President of Argentina, came 3rd with 57 per cent approval.

Mark Carney from Canada holds the fourth position with 56 per cent, while Anthony Albanese, the Prime Minister of Australia, ranks fifth with 54 per cent.

US President Donald Trump was not in the list of top five global leaders.

Trump, with 44 per cent approval score was at the eighth position. His disapproval score was 50 per cent as six per cent respondents were of no opinion.

He was behind Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico, who was at sixth spot with a 53 per cent approval rating and Karin Keller-Sutter of Switzerland at seventh position with 48 per cent score.

Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, held 9th position with 41 per cent score, followed by Italy’s Giorgia Meloni, at 10th place in the list with an approval score of 40 per cent.

BJP leader Amit Malviya said that the country is in the safe hands reacted to the ratings of PM Modi.

“Loved by over a billion Indians and respected by millions across the globe, PM Narendra Modi tops the Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker once again the highest-rated and most trusted leader worldwide. Strong leadership. Global respect. Bharat is in safe hands,” Amit Malviya wrote on X.

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also celebrated the approval ratings of Modi, stated that the Prime Minister’s “strong, decisive leadership ensures Bharat’s rise and the world’s respect.”
