UP: First Army Recruitment Rally for ‘Agniveers’ Begins in Fatehgarh

Fatehgarh, 19th August. The first Army Recruitment rally for ‘Agniveers’ in Uttar Pradesh began on Friday morning in Fatehgarh. It will run until the 8th of next month.
The rally will pass through 12 districts, Bareilly, Bahraich, Balrampur, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Shravasti, and Sitapur, Defence PRO Central Command Shantanu Pratap Singh said.
He said approximately 4500 candidates from three Tehsils in the district of Farrukhabad appeared on the first day.
Shantanu said the rally is being organised with administrative assistance from the Rajput Regimental Centre and the Sikh Light Infantry Regimental Centres, as well as the local administration.
‘Agniveers’ will be inducted into the Indian Army under multiple trades, including General Duty, Clerks/Store Keeper Technical, Tradesman, and Soldier Technical.
