New Delhi, 26th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, July 26, 2025, extended his greetings to the countrymen on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
In a post on platform X, the Prime Minister stated, “This occasion reminds us of the unparalleled courage and valor of those brave sons of Mother India who dedicated their lives to protect the nation’s pride.” He further added that the passion of these heroes to sacrifice for the motherland will continue to inspire every generation.
Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed annually to commemorate India’s victory in the Kargil War of 1999 and to pay tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation.
