Union Minister Ramdas Athawale Calls on J-K LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar, 7th Oct. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale met with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday and discussed a wide range of issues, an official spokesperson said.

Athawale, the Union Minister of state for social justice and empowerment, met with Sinha at Raj Bhawan.

According to the spokesperson, they discussed a range of issues concerning the underprivileged, senior citizens, drug abuse, and other special programs aimed at people’s social and economic empowerment.

Athawale also discussed the current development scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha Member Gulam Ali Khatana met with the Lt Governor and discussed various public welfare issues, according to the spokesperson.

While interacting with the newly-elected MP, Sinha stated that the Union Territory administration is working on all fronts to make every section of society an equal stakeholder in Jammu and Kashmir’s development process.

We are reaching out to the last person in line with all the benefits of government schemes and the rapid socioeconomic growth happening in the Union Territory in order to ensure inclusive and equitable development for all, Sinha said.
