Mount Abu, 12th Sept: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush and Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav visited the Brahma Kumaris Headquarters in Mount Abu on Friday, highlighting the role of spiritual health in modern healthcare.

Jadhav inaugurated the 51st National Conference on Mind-Body Medicine: Leading Healthcare through Self-Care at Gyan Sarovar, praising the Brahma Kumaris’ decades-long efforts in spreading meditation, inner strength, and holistic living.

He said their vision aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to integrate modern medicine with India’s spiritual heritage, adding that “true wellness nurtures harmony between mind, body, and soul.”

During the visit, the minister met Brahma Kumari Shivani Didi, supporting her proposal for a dedicated “Meditation Day,” similar to the International Day of Yoga.

He also announced that the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) will back the Brahma Kumaris’ medicinal plantation projects, promoting herbal and spiritual plant cultivation.

Jadhav toured key centres including Shanti Stambh, Global Hospital, Pandav Bhawan, and the Art Gallery, describing them as spaces of “positive energy and spiritual calmness.”

Concluding his trip, he joined a meditation session, calling it “spiritually enriching” and essential for inner strength and mental clarity.
