Union Minister Chirag Paswan Launch Website and App for World Food India 2024

New Delhi, 20th June. Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan, and Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Railways Ravneet Singh, inaugurated the website and mobile application for World Food India 2024.

The launch sets the stage for the upcoming 3rd edition of the event, aimed at showcasing India’s advancements in the food processing sector.

Chirag Paswan emphasized the sector’s role in reducing agricultural wastage, enhancing food security, and bolstering the farm-to-fork supply chain. Highlighting government initiatives like PMKSY and PMFME, he underscored efforts towards Atma Nirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.

Scheduled from September 19 to 22, 2024, World Food India 2024 aims to foster global collaborations and showcase India’s prowess in food processing. The event will feature the 2nd edition of the Startup Grand Challenge to promote innovation.

In his address, Ravneet Singh highlighted the sector’s transformative potential and the government’s initiatives to attract investments and leverage India’s market and workforce. He emphasized the event’s role in uniting stakeholders and driving sectoral growth through collaboration and innovation.

Secretary FPI Anita Praveen extended invitations to global dignitaries, investors, and industry leaders to participate in the inclusive and industry-driven event.
