New Delhi, 18th July. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday cast his vote for the Presidential election, at Parliament.
Mr Shah tweeted in Hindi, “Voted in the presidential election in Parliament today. The enthusiasm which is being seen across the country towards Mrs Draupadi Murmu ji, a symbol of tribal pride and women’s empowerment, as a candidate of NDA, shows that her thumping victory in this election for the highest post of the country is sure.”

Voting for the presidential election, in which Droupadi Murmu of the NDA is contesting against Yashwant Sinha of the joint opposition, started on Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the early voters when polls opened at 10 am.
