Two persons infected with Covid, who fled from Covid care centre In Munsiyari nabbed and referred to Haldwani centre

Haldwani, 4th June.  Two persons both husband and wife who were admitted to Covid care centre at Munsiyari and had fled from there on Thursday were nabbed by the police and referred to Susheela Tiwari hospital at Haldwani said the health officials Pithoragarh.

“Narendra Singh Dhakariyal, the resident of Pato village of Muskurati, was admitted in Munsiyari covid centre last Tuesday after he tested positive. He fled the centre accompanied by his wife Gangotri Dakariyal on June 3 after obtaining an E-pass for Haldwani he booked a taxi and was on his way to Haldwani but was nabbed by hospital staff at Ginni bend some 32 km from Munsiyari. He was brought back to the hospital from where he has been referred to Haldwani.” said the HC Pant CMO Pithoragarh.

According to the CMO, Narendra Singh had gone to higher meadows to collect Yarsa Gumba or Kira Jari, but came positive after checking.” He was insisting that his stomach is not well and wished to be treated at a higher centre so he was referred on his own request.” said the CMO.
Munsiyari SDM Abhay Pratap Singh said that after the incident police have been deputed at Munsiyari covid care centre.
” We are also keeping an eye on the complaints of the patients complaining about other diseases too.” said the SDM.
