The awards were presented in seven categories:

In his address, the Vice-President described it as an honour to be part of the ceremony celebrating excellence across diverse fields. He said Ramoji Rao was “a visionary who transformed ideas into institutions and dreams into enduring realities,” noting his pioneering contribution to media, communication, and entrepreneurship.
He highlighted how institutions such as Eenadu, ETV Network and Ramoji Film City reshaped Indian journalism and entertainment. Ramoji Rao’s deep commitment to truth, ethics and creativity, he said, continues to guide the media landscape.
Calling the Ramoji Excellence Awards a “fitting tribute” to Rao’s legacy, the Vice-President said the honours recognise individuals who make a meaningful difference to society.
Reflecting on the role of the media, he underscored the need for credible, ethical and responsible journalism in an era marked by misinformation and information overload. As India moves towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, he urged media organisations to highlight stories of innovation, rural transformation, women’s empowerment and start-up success.
He stressed that truth and fairness must remain the foundation of media institutions and emphasised the role of the press in shaping a Drug-Free Bharat and helping citizens identify fake news, especially with the rapid rise of AI-driven misinformation.
Commending the Ramoji Group for instituting the awards, he said the initiative turns “remembrance into inspiration and legacy into purposeful action.”
The Vice-President congratulated all awardees, calling them “torchbearers of excellence,” and expressed confidence that their journeys would inspire many others. He said the evening celebrated not only achievers but also the enduring value of sincere and purposeful pursuit of excellence.
The event was attended by Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.
