Washington – US President Donald Trump on Friday has set a Sunday deadline for Hamas to agree to a deal to end the war in Gaza, warned the Palestinian militant group of “all hell” if they fail to comply.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that the group must agree by 6 pm Washington time on Sunday or face consequences he described as “all hell”.

Trump described Hamas as a “violent threat responsible for the October 7 attacks in Israel”, which killed many civilians, in a post on Truth Social.

He said more than 25,000 Hamas fighters have already been killed, and the rest are surrounded, he added.

Trump urged innocent Palestinians to leave areas where fighting may continue and assured them that they would be taken care of safely, he stated.

He also demanded that Hamas release all hostages, including the bodies of those who have died, he further stated.

The proposed peace plan, supported by Israel and other Middle Eastern nations, aims to end violence, disarm Hamas, and bring long-term stability to the region.

Trump called it a “last chance” for the group to agree to the deal.

“There will be peace in the Middle East one way or the other,” he concluded.

Trump gave Hamas 3–4 days to accept a 20-point peace plan for Gaza, warning the group of a “very sad end” if it refuses.

“Hamas is either going to do it or not, and if it doesn’t, it’s going to be a very sad end,” Trump said,.

He added “we’re just waiting for Hamas.”

Trump was speaking at the White House, said that if Hamas rejects the deal, Israel will be allowed to take necessary action, which he said could be done easily. He also claimed that Israel has already killed Hamas leaders “three different times.”

The peace plan proposes to end the war in Gaza immediately if both sides agree. Israel would withdraw its troops to agreed positions and stop all military operations.\

Hamas would have to release all surviving hostages and return the bodies of the dead within 72 hours of Israel agreeing to the plan. For each Israeli body returned, Israel would release the remains of 15 Palestinians.

Israel would free 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences and release 1,700 Gazans arrested after the October 7, 2023, attack, Trump had said.

Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, both said that if Hamas does not accept the plan, they will continue efforts to destroy the militant group.
