New Delhi, 30th Nov: The Indo European Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises (IECSME), in association with Asha Global Trust and the Women International Network (WIN), organised a major event at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, on 25 November 2025. Marking the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the platform of the 18th National Women Excellence Award (NWEA) 2025 centred on advancing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s women-led development model through the IECSME Kamdhenu Chair initiative.

IECSME President Dr. Vijay Tiwari, delivering the keynote address, outlined the structure and vision of the Kamdhenu Chair. He announced a targeted financial inclusion plan of nearly ₹10 lakh crore aimed at transforming 2.5 lakh gram panchayats from “begging bowls” into thriving “enterprises.” Universities and higher education institutions will be integral partners in this nationwide mission. Dr. Tiwari also said the programme will be expanded to over 150 countries looking to India as a model of peace, harmony and prosperity. The initiative forms part of the Yoga Vidya Jagriti Abhiyan International Holistic Health Movement, launched in 2005 by the North Eastern Council under the Ministry of DoNER.

Asha Global Trust Chairperson Dr. Asha shared her experiences from Chhattisgarh and announced that the organisation is now focusing on training women leaders for future roles in active politics.

Former BJP Mahila Morcha legislator Latika Sharma called for greater involvement of institutions and government bodies, noting that the target is to directly impact one crore women across India.

WIN President Dr. Rekha Tiwari highlighted her work in education and skill development and spoke about her involvement with the Kamdhenu Chair in Milkpuri block, Ayodhya. She emphasised taking the programme to a global scale.

The event saw strong endorsement from distinguished personalities. Former MP and senior journalist Santosh Bharatiya commended the organisers and assured support for future initiatives. RSS veteran and Bharat Raksha Manch convenor Suryakant Kelkar Guruji extended blessings and promised assistance at all levels. Former Supreme Court Bar Association President Adish C. Aggarwala pledged full national and international support for advancing women’s interests.

Former MP Dr. Suraj Mandal, who chaired the NWEA 2025 reception committee, welcomed the guests and promised cooperation through the Association of Former MPs.

Asian Marathon Gold Medallist (1992) Dr. Sunita Godara energised the gathering with a motivational address on success principles and sponsored gift hampers for the organisers and awardees.

IECSME Secretary-General Lakshmi Thakur Singhal conducted the event and reflected on the institution’s 18-year journey with the awards. She also shared her experiences working with the Kamdhenu Chair across Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.
