TMC MP tears snatches Pegasus statement papers from IT minister and tears them in Raya Sabha

New Delhi,22nd July. In a shameful incident a major row broke out in Rajya Sabha following the snatching  and tearing of the Pegasus statement papers from IT minister Vaishnaw by Trinamool Congress ( TMC) MP Santanu Sen  when the proceedings were on in  Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

The incident took place when IT minister Vaishnaw was reading out the statement on Pegasus hacking issue when the TMC MP raising slogans reached the well and snatched the papers from his hand. He not only tore the papers into pieces but hurled them in the air as mark of protest. The ongoing row over alleged large scale phone tapping of politicians has marred the proceedings of the parliament with opposition demanding explanation in the matter.

Sen was seen on national television snatching the report right out of the Minister`s hand and throwing the shredded pieces in air. This led to a verbal spat  between BJP and TMC MPs with Marshals intervening to bring the situation under control. Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Santanu Sen exchanged heated words after the incident.

The BJP senior leaders said that  the TMC can do anything and resort to violence at a any given moment They have done it in Bengal where they are on killing spree and  torturing women and ripping of their clothes. This is just a small glimpse of what TMC can do said BP leaders in Unison.
