Haldwani,23rd June. The BJP is already gearing up for the 2022 assembly elections next year and the BJP workers begin the work earnestly through grass level contact with the electorates in the Uttarakhand.
Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who reached Haldwani on Wednesday, discussed the poll preparedness with the party workers. Speaking about the upcoming assembly elections, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the Tirath Singh Rawat will be the face of BJP for 2022 assembly elections.
Former CM Trivendra said that Tirath Singh Rawat is our Chief Minister and BJP will contest the next assembly elections him being the prominent face. When asked about his removal as the as chief minister, Trivendra Rawat said, ” it is possible that I will get a major responsibility soon?” he was hinting towards his elevation as cabinet minister in the expected reshuffle in the union government .
With the assembly elections remarkably close, all major parties of Uttarakhand including the BJP, are gearing up for the elections by formulating strategies. BJP is not only training the workers at the booth level but also preparing for the upcoming elections by strategizing so to ensure its victory in the state elections next year.
