Maharshtra, 30th June. At 7:30 p.m. today, Shinde will take the oath.
Shinde will be the only one to take the oath of office today, according to Fadnavis, who also stated that the cabinet’s size would be decided after further discussion.
“The BJP has decided to back Eknath Shinde as the state’s Chief Minister. At 7:30 p.m. today, Eknath Shinde will take the oath by himself. Additional decisions regarding the expansion of the cabinet will be made following the ceremony.
The Shiv Sena, the allies, the independents, and the BJP will make up the cabinet. Although I won’t be in the cabinet, I will be in charge of ensuring that the alliance and the government run smoothly. I’ll give the government my wholehearted support and cooperation, said Fadnavis.
This follows Uddhav Thackeray’s Wednesday night announcement of his resignation as chief minister, which changed the course of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance.
