New Delhi, 29th Jan. “The academic leadership must possess spiritual intelligence (SI) more than artificial intelligence (AI) for endeavors of needo-governance,” believes Former Vice-Chancellor Dr Madan Mohan Goel, Propounder Needonomics School of Thought superannuated Professor from Kurukshetra University. He was addressing the participants of the NEP Orientation & Sensitization Program (online mode) organized by   UGC- Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi . His topic was “Academic Leadership for Needo-governance in Institutional Management”. Prof. Veera Gupta Director MMTTC delivered the welcome address. Dr. Shahla Tarannum Asstt. Course Coordinator presented a citation on the achievements of Prof. M.M. Goel.
We must adopt a well-defined Public-Private –Partnership (PPP) model ensuring needo-governance for minimizing the challenges in implementation  of National Education Policy (NEP) to be  sufficient as needo-education for needo-employability, believes Prof. Goel.
For enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of academic leadership, we must understand and adopt Gita-based needonomics, explained Needonomist Goel.
Empowerment and enlightenment to play with the paperweight need a decentralization approach, said Prof. Goel.
To get the best from others, we must give better than the best in our academic endeavors, said Prof. Goel.
To script a new narrative of academic leadership with cooperation (not competition), we must be bold, courageous, and enthusiastic to become street SMART (simple, moral, action-oriented, responsive, and transparent), explained Prof. Goel.
