Telangana Governor Champions Global Excellence at 98th AIU National Conference

Telangana Governor C P Radhakrishnan inaugurated the 98th Association of Indian Universities (AIU) national conference of vice chancellors 2024 on Monday.

In his address, Radhakrishnan emphasized the need for students to compete on a global scale and emerge as winners. He praised AIU and the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education University for organizing the conference, highlighting AIU’s efforts in bolstering knowledge power in higher education.

The Governor lauded AIU’s commitment to enriching the higher education system, particularly through initiatives like the Bharat Knowledge System (BKS), aimed at fostering talented youth. He urged universities to nurture skilled youth to realize the vision of Viksit Bharat put forth by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The conference, themed ‘Higher Education @ 2047’, featured discussions led by prominent figures like Professor G D Sharma, Professor Pankaj Mittal, and Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak. Over 500 vice chancellors from various universities participated, offering valuable insights.

The three-day conference, organized by ICFAI, saw participation from 11 ICFAI Universities and received a warm welcome from Professor L S Ganesh, vice chancellor of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education.

A book on sustainable goals authored by 78 individuals was also launched during the event, underscoring the conference’s commitment to driving innovation and excellence in higher education.
