Telangana Adds Another Tier-II Town to its IT Network

Hyderabad, 1st Jan. The state government of Telangana launched work on an IT Hub in Nalgonda on Friday as part of its policy to encourage information technology in tier II towns.

K.T. Rama Rao, Minister of Information Technology, laid the groundwork for the IT Hub, which will span three acres and cover 75,000 square feet.

This cutting-edge facility will include all of the advanced features in a plug-and-play format.

Officials said nine companies have already signed memorandums of understanding with the state government to open offices in the Nalgonda IT Hub, and seven more have expressed strong interest in doing so.

According to the Minister of Information Technology, these businesses will generate jobs.He quoted IT entrepreneurs as saying that Covid-19 has been a blessing in disguise because it has allowed people to work from anywhere, not just at home.
