Udaipur, 2nd July. The Rajasthan government suspended Udaipur Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ashok Meena on Friday night.
The suspension order issued by the home department’s Joint Secretary (Police), Jagveer Singh, makes no mention of the reason for the action.
However, he is believed to have been suspended for negligence in the case of tailor Kanhaiya Lal, who was threatened and then brutally murdered by two cleaver-wielding men on Tuesday over a controversial post.
