New Delhi, 12th Jan: Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan paid floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary, observed as National Youth Day, at the Vice President’s Enclave in New Delhi on Monday.
In a message shared on social media, the Vice President remembered Swami Vivekananda as one of India’s greatest spiritual luminaries and highlighted the enduring relevance of his life and teachings.
Radhakrishnan said that Swami Vivekananda emphasised inner strength, self-discipline and selfless service as the core pillars of a purposeful life. He noted that by taking India’s civilisational wisdom to the world, Swamiji ignited national pride and instilled confidence among the youth to work for the nation’s progress.
He added that Swami Vivekananda’s ideals continue to inspire generations and remain a guiding force for young Indians in shaping a strong and developed nation.
