New Delhi, 29th May.
Suspended JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna, currently facing sexual abuse charges, has reportedly booked a return flight ticket to Bengaluru from Munich, as per official sources. The 33-year-old grandson of JDS supremo H D Deve Gowda is expected to arrive in Bengaluru in the early hours of May 31.

Sources within the Special Investigation Team (SIT) indicate that they are maintaining vigilance at the Kempegowda airport in Bengaluru to apprehend Revanna upon his arrival. Revanna, who is seeking re-election as the NDA candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha segment, fled to a foreign country soon after reports emerged that the Karnataka State Commission for Women requested Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to initiate an investigation into explicit videos allegedly involving him. Two cases of sexual assault have been registered against Revanna thus far.

In a recent video message, Revanna pledged to appear before the SIT on May 31 and cooperate with the inquiry. However, it is noted that he has previously canceled flight tickets from Germany on two occasions.

Meanwhile, the SIT conducted searches at Revanna’s residence in the district headquarters town of Hassan on Tuesday, continuing late into the night. “Some incriminating materials have been seized,” the sources revealed.
