Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Visits Statue of Unity, Pays Tribute to Sardar Patel

Kevadia, 24th Oct: Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, visited the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat today and paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

Speaking at the site, Scindia said that the Statue of Unity is not just a monument to India’s first Home Minister but a living symbol of the nation’s unity, integrity, and unwavering commitment to nation-building that laid the foundation of independent India.

Calling the statue a reflection of “India’s unity and inner strength,” Scindia noted that it embodies the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his unshakable faith in India’s cultural strength. “The Statue of Unity reminds us that India’s true power lies in its unity amid diversity. The India that Sardar Patel united is today marching confidently towards self-reliance and development,” he said.

The Union Minister further added that Sardar Patel’s ideals continue to guide India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat @2047.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India is an extension of Sardar Patel’s dream of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. India’s rapid progress in digital transformation, self-reliance, and innovation is deeply rooted in the spirit of unity and nationhood that Patel instilled in us,” Scindia remarked.
