Jabalpur, 7th Feb. In a bid to enhance air services in Madhya Pradesh, SpiceJet announces the restart of direct flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Jabalpur, commencing next month. The flights will facilitate seamless connectivity for travelers and bolster trade and commerce in the region.
The direct flight from Delhi to Jabalpur is set to recommence operations on March 1, 2024, with services operating twice a week. Similarly, the Mumbai-Jabalpur flight service will resume from March 2, 2024, providing added convenience for passengers traveling between these key cities.
Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya M Scindia, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration with SpiceJet, stating, “I am delighted that with the support of SpiceJet, Jabalpur will get additional connectivity to Mumbai and Delhi.” He emphasized the significance of this initiative in facilitating efficient travel experiences and fostering economic growth in the region.
Furthermore, Minister Scindia highlighted the ongoing development at Jabalpur Airport, with the construction of a new Terminal Building underway at a cost of Rs. 412 crore. This infrastructure upgrade is poised to inject new vitality into travel and economic activities, promising a brighter future for Jabalpur’s residents and businesses alike.
The reinstatement of direct flight services underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and promoting economic development across various regions of the country, ultimately benefiting both passengers and businesses.
