Samalkha, 13th March: The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the highest decision-making body of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), formally commenced on Friday at the Madhav Srishti complex in Patti Kalyana near Samalkha, Haryana.
The three-day meeting began with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale offering floral tributes to the portrait of Bharat Mata. More than 1,400 representatives from across the country are expected to participate in the deliberations.
Addressing journalists after the opening session, RSS Sah-Sarkaryawah C.R. Mukunda said the programmes organised as part of the RSS centenary year have received an inspiring response from society. He said the participation and cooperation of various sections of society have greatly encouraged volunteers.
Mukunda noted that the centenary year programmes were launched on October 2, 2025 in Nagpur, in the presence of former President Ramnath Kovind and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. A day earlier, the Government of India also released a commemorative stamp and coin marking the centenary year.
He said the centenary year activities focus on expanding organisational outreach and mobilising society to promote harmony and goodwill.
Under the Ghar Sampark (home outreach) campaign, volunteers have already contacted over 10 crore households across nearly 3.9 lakh villages in several states, while the campaign continues in other regions.
Mukunda highlighted that the outreach programme is conducted without any social or community bias. He cited the example of Kerala, where volunteers visited over 55,000 Muslim households and more than 54,000 Christian families, who welcomed the initiative and interacted with volunteers.
He also said that more than 36,000 Hindu conferences have been organised across the country in urban, rural and remote tribal areas. These gatherings aim to mobilise society around the concept of “Panch Parivartan”, which focuses on social harmony, environmental awareness, pride in indigenous identity, strengthening the family system and civic responsibility.
According to the report presented during the meeting, the organisation has expanded its activities over the past year. The number of locations where RSS activities are conducted has increased from 51,740 to 55,683, while the number of branches has grown from 83,129 to 88,949.
Mukunda said the organisation’s efforts are aimed at bringing together constructive social forces for nation-building, adding that the RSS centenary year programmes will continue across the country until October 2026.
