Senior Journalist & Author Dr. Kumar Rakesh Appointed Honorary Pro Vice-Chancellor of Panchagavya Vidyapeetham

Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, 8th June: In recognition of his outstanding leadership and commitment to traditional Indian sciences, Senior Journalist and Global Media Strategist Dr. Kumar Rakesh has been appointed as the Honorary Pro Vice-Chancellor (International Growth) of Panchagavya Vidyapeetham, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
The appointment, announced by Vice Chancellor Dr Kamal Taori, IAS (Retd), former Secretary to the Government of India, acknowledges Dr Rakesh’s decades-long contribution to journalism, traditional Indian knowledge systems, and global outreach.
According to the official communication, Dr Rakesh will be instrumental in promoting Panchagavya education and therapy both within Bharat and internationally. His responsibilities will include supporting research initiatives, expanding institutional collaborations, and representing the Vidyapeetham at national and global forums. The position is honorary and reflects the institution’s recognition of his commitment to cultural and wellness-based education.

Dr. Kumar Rakesh, Sr Journalist, Author, Political Analyst, Poet, Broadcaster has been active in Journalism, Media & Communications for more than 37 years at national & global level. He has worked in Times of India group, Hindustan Times Group, Indian Express group, Dainik Bhaskar group, Nai Duniya, Indian Nation like many esteemed media organizations in Bharat and has been instrumental in creating more than 9 TV news channels in the country. Through his career, he has had the opportunity to travel to over 50 countries with many Presidents, Vice Presidents, Prime Ministers of Bharat for reporting, writing as an esteemed member of delegation.
