New Delhi, 1st Feb: Former BJP Member of Parliament from Chandigarh and Additional Solicitor General of India Satya Pal Jain met C. P. Radhakrishnan, the Hon’ble Vice President of India and Chancellor of Panjab University, at the Vice President’s House in New Delhi on Sunday evening.
According to sources, the meeting was primarily a courtesy call. However, Jain also took the opportunity to bring to the notice of the Vice President certain recent developments concerning Panjab University, Chandigarh.
During the interaction, Jain briefed the Vice President on a range of legal issues, including matters specifically related to Panjab University. The discussion focused on issues of institutional importance, given the Vice President’s role as the Chancellor of the university.
The meeting is seen as part of ongoing engagement with constitutional authorities on academic and legal issues concerning one of the country’s premier universities.
