Chandigarh, 21st Feb: The Bhakti Path Yatra Group organized its first religious bus journey to Shri Khatu Shyam Ji Temple and Shri Salasar Balaji Dham, marking the launch of a monthly devotional initiative aimed at strengthening youth engagement with Sanatan values.
The bus was flagged off by Satya Pal Jain, Additional Solicitor General of India, in the presence of several prominent dignitaries. The ceremony commenced with the traditional breaking of a coconut to signify an auspicious beginning.
Former Chandigarh Mayor Devesh Modgil, former Deputy Mayor Anil Dubey, Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Kamli Mata, Soni Goyal, Bhupendra Sharma, Mukesh Goyal, A.P. Sharma, Siddharth Modgil and Sukesha Gosain were among those present at the flag-off event.
The organizers said the Bhakti Path Yatra Group aims to conduct pilgrimages every month to connect more youth and families with spiritual heritage and devotional practices.
Prior to departure, social worker Sonu Sethi, owner of Sethi Dhaba, welcomed the devotees with devotional hymns and arranged an evening feast. Several volunteers including Mahipal Khati, Poonam Kothari, Basavanand Bhatt, Anil Goyal, Dheeraj Kumar, Tejaswi Mathpal, Kirti, Kanti Devi, Rajrani and Taruna actively contributed to the arrangements.
The inaugural journey was described as a meaningful beginning toward fostering spiritual awareness and collective devotion in the region.
