Satish Poonia Appointed Haryana In-Charge as BJP Reshuffles Leadership in 24 States

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed in-charges for 24 states and co-incharges for several states, marking the beginning of significant changes within the party post the Lok Sabha elections. This strategic move is crucial for the upcoming state assembly elections.

The orders for these appointments were issued by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh. 

Satish Poonia, former president of the Rajasthan BJP, has been given a major responsibility.
Despite losing in the 2023 assembly elections and not being fielded in the subsequent Lok Sabha elections, Poonia met with central leaders in Delhi recently. Now, he has been appointed as the in-charge for Haryana, with MP Surendra Singh Nagar serving as the co-in-charge.

  2. Arunachal Pradesh: In-charge – Ashok Singhal
  3. Bihar: In-charge – Vinod Tawde; Co-in-charge – Deepak Prakash
  4. Chhattisgarh: In-charge – Nitin Nabin
  5. Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu: In-charge – Dushyant Patel
  6. Goa: In-charge – Ashish Sood
  7. Haryana: In-charge – Satish Poonia; Co-in-charge – Surendra Singh Nagar
  8. Himachal Pradesh: In-charge – Shrikant Sharma; Co-in-charge – Sanjay Tandon
  9. Jammu and Kashmir: In-charge – Tarun Chugh; Co-in-charge – Ashish Sood
  10. Jharkhand: In-charge – Laxmikant Bajpai
