Patna, 27th Oct: The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. Among the key constituencies going to the polls in the first phase is Sarairanjan, located in the Samastipur district. The seat has long been a stronghold of the Janata Dal (United) and its senior leader Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, who currently serves as a minister in the Bihar government.

Over the years, Sarairanjan has witnessed intense political battles, but Chaudhary has consistently maintained his dominance, winning the seat since 2010. Recognizing his record and influence, the Nitish Kumar-led JDU has once again fielded him from the constituency.

In the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election 2025, the Sarairanjan seat is expected to see a fierce triangular contest between Vijay Kumar Chaudhary (JDU), Arbind Kumar Sahni (RJD), and Sajan Kumar Mishra (Jan Suraaj Party).
