New Delhi, 5th Aug: To mark its centenary year, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to hold a three-day lecture series in New Delhi to foster a dialogue with prominent personalities from all sections of society. The event, titled “100 Years of Sangh’s Journey – New Horizons,” will be held at Vigyan Bhawan on August 26, 27, and 28, with RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat in attendance.

Speaking at a press conference, RSS All India Prachar Pramukh, Sunil Ambekar, provided details of the event. He stated that leading figures from various fields, including social, economic, spiritual, sports, and education, as well as ambassadors from different countries, have been invited. The invitations have been extended to personalities across 17 main and 138 sub-categories, covering all walks of life and ideologies.

Ambekar explained that the discussions will focus on the RSS’s role and experiences over the last century, as well as the path ahead for the organization and its volunteers. Dr. Bhagwat will share his views on the Sangh’s vision for “Panch Parivartan” (five changes) and the expected participation from society. The dialogue will also address how India can progress on its own terms, moving beyond “colonial parameters” of development. On the third day, Dr. Bhagwat will answer written questions submitted by the attendees.

The event in New Delhi is part of a larger series of more than 1,000 seminars and gatherings planned across the country to celebrate the organization’s hundredth anniversary, which began in 1925.

Ambekar concluded by saying that the RSS has always aimed to reach all sections of society, reiterating that its ideology is not separate but is based on “India’s established tradition.” He emphasized the Sangh’s desire for the entire nation to come together and contribute to the country’s journey of progress, highlighting the role of volunteers in initiatives like “Swavalambi Bharat” (self-reliant India).
