Samalkha (Panipat), 11th March: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold its highest decision-making body meeting, the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, from March 13 to 15 at the Madhav Srishti complex in Samalkha, Haryana.

The three-day meeting will bring together 1,487 representatives from across the country, including senior RSS functionaries and leaders of various affiliated organisations.

Addressing a press conference at the venue, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said the meeting will focus on the organisation’s centenary year programmes, social challenges and expansion plans.

The meeting will begin on March 13 at 9 am in the presence of RSS chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale. Senior RSS office-bearers, regional leaders, pracharaks and top representatives from 32 RSS-inspired organisations will participate in the deliberations.

Ambekar said the RSS is currently observing its centenary year, during which extensive outreach programmes are being conducted across the country.

“As part of the centenary celebrations, volunteers have already reached more than 10 crore households through a nationwide home-contact campaign. The initiative will continue in other regions in the coming months,” he said.

The meeting will also discuss programmes marking the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Ravidas, which will be organised across the country from February 1 this year to February 20 next year with a focus on promoting social harmony.

Ambekar added that the final day of the meeting, March 15, will feature a press conference by Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, who will brief the media on the resolutions and decisions taken during the gathering.

During the press conference, RSS Sah Prachar Pramukhs Narendra Thakur and Pradeep Joshi were also present.

Apart from reviewing organisational activities, the meeting will deliberate on current social and cultural challenges, with participants sharing experiences from different regions of the country.

Senior representatives from RSS-inspired organisations have also been invited as special guests. These include leaders from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, and other groups.

Leaders associated with organisations such as the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh are also expected to attend. Representatives from the Bharatiya Janata Party, including its national president Nitin Nabin, have been invited as well.

Ambekar said the meeting will also review the organisation’s expansion efforts, noting that more than 5,500 new RSS shakhas have been started across the country over the past year.

He added that interest in joining the RSS through digital platforms has been growing steadily, with around 1.25 lakh people every year expressing willingness to join through the “Join RSS” initiative.

As part of the centenary celebrations, the organisation will also conduct 97 training camps across the country this year.

A special exhibition showcasing the RSS’s activities and milestones has also been set up at the Madhav Srishti complex for the participating delegates.
