Delhi, June 16, 2025 – The 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg (General), organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Delhi Prant, concluded on Monday evening with a grand ceremony held at R.A. Geeta Vidyalaya, Shankar Nagar, Shahdara.
A total of 225 trainees participated in this intensive camp, representing a diverse group of students, professionals, teachers, and government employees.
The closing event featured Shri Anil Oak, All India Co-Organisation Secretary of the RSS, as the chief speaker, and Air Marshal (Retd.) Shri Rajesh Kumar as the chief guest. Also present were Dr. Anil Agrawal, Delhi Prant Sanghchalak, and Dr. Mahesh Vyas, chief in-charge of the training camp.
‘Panch Parivartan’ for a Transformational Life
Addressing the gathering, Shri Anil Oak called upon volunteers and society to adopt ‘Panch Parivartan’ (Five Transformations) in their daily lives. These include:
Social Harmony
Family Awareness (Parivar Prabodhan)
Environmentally Responsible Lifestyle
Fulfillment of Civic Duties
Promotion of Swadeshi (indigenous products and systems)
Shri Oak emphasized that India is uniquely positioned to lead the world spiritually and ethically. “While some countries boast about destroying the world 21 times, India is the only nation that talks about rebuilding the world 21 times,” he stated. Referring to India’s age-old ethos, he reiterated, “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramaya” – May all be happy, may all be healthy.
100 Years of RSS: A Journey Toward National Glory
Touching upon the RSS’s centenary milestone, Shri Oak reflected on the vision of Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, who founded the Sangh in 1925 after a deep analysis of India’s then socio-political condition. “Dr. Hedgewar realized that nothing could move forward without organizing the Hindu society. That realization became the basis of the Sangh’s foundation,” Oak said.
He further added, “There is growing curiosity in society about RSS. We invite people not to judge RSS from the outside but to come inside and understand it from within.”
225 Trainees from Across the Nation
The training camp ran from June 1 to June 15, with participants aged between 18 and 40 years. Out of the 225 trainees, 222 were from Delhi, one from Mumbai, and two from Telangana. The participants included 93 school students, 89 undergraduate and postgraduate students (B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD), and 43 professionals, including teachers, government employees, and businesspeople.
Holistic Training: Physical, Intellectual, and Social
The camp focused on well-rounded development. Daily sessions included physical drills and intellectual discussions, aimed at instilling discipline, clarity of thought, and a deeper understanding of national and social issues.
Participants were also trained in collective living, where teamwork, cooperation, and responsibility played a central role. The curriculum emphasized developing sensitivity, discipline, service spirit, and a strong commitment to national values.
Revamped Format of Training Camps
Starting in 2024, the RSS revised the structure of its training programs:
Introductory Camp – 3 days
Primary Education Camp – 7 days
Sangh Shiksha Varg (General) – 15 days
Karyakarta Vikas Varg-1 (previously Second Year Camp) – 20 days
Karyakarta Vikas Varg-2 (previously Third Year Camp) – 25 days
There are two categories:
General Varg for 18–40 years
Special Varg for those above 41 years
The Sangh Shiksha Varg in Delhi was not just a training event but a transformational experience for all participants. The message from the dais was loud and clear: India’s rise depends on disciplined, value-driven, and selfless individuals. With the RSS stepping into its 100th year, such training programs are seen as the foundation of a new, self-reliant, and harmonious India
