Samalkha, 13th March: The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha, the highest decision-making body of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), commenced on Friday in Samalkha, Haryana.

The meeting was formally inaugurated by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale, who offered floral tributes to the portrait of Bharat Mata at the beginning of the session.

The three-day meeting has brought together 1,487 representatives from across the country, including senior functionaries of the RSS and its affiliated organisations.

The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha is regarded as the top policy-making platform of the RSS, where organisational matters, social issues and future programmes are discussed.

During the gathering, representatives from different regions are expected to deliberate on various national, social and organisational issues, as well as review ongoing activities and future plans of the organisation.

The meeting will continue over the next few days with discussions among senior RSS leaders and delegates from across India.
