RHF Marks Akhand Bharat Diwas, Urges Unity & Border Security

Rashtriya Hindu Front Marks Akhand Bharat Diwas in Guwahati, Calls for National Unity and Stronger Border Laws

GG News Bureau
Guwahati, August 14: The Rashtriya Hindu Front (RHF), an organization working since October 2013 (Registration No. 232/632/2014), observed Akhand Bharat Diwas at Shrimanta Shankar Kendra, Mathuranagar, Guwahati, reaffirming its commitment to protecting India’s unity and integrity. The event, attended by prominent community leaders, artists, and members of allied organizations, combined cultural performances with strong political messaging against separatism and external threats.

President’s Call to Action

In his address, the RHF President declared, “We will protect the country from the forces of division and armed aggression. Remaining silent in the face of such threats is a historical mistake.” He stressed that separatist tendencies, left unchecked, weaken the social and territorial fabric of the nation. Calling for strict legal measures to safeguard India’s borders, the President urged citizens and policymakers alike to treat national unity as a collective responsibility.

Symbolic and Cultural Expressions

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of lamps before an image of Bharat Mata (Mother India), symbolizing unity across the subcontinent. The cultural segment featured soulful performances by noted artists whose renditions celebrated India’s cultural heritage and diversity. A highlight of the evening was the Rashtriya Nritya presentation on Akhand Bharat Diwas, performed by a dedicated troupe portraying India’s historical and civilizational unity.

Message of National Integrity

Speakers at the event emphasized that India’s strength lies in its unity, warning against forces—both internal and external—that seek to fragment the nation. They highlighted historical lessons where silence in the face of aggression had led to territorial and cultural losses. The consensus among attendees was that patriotism should translate into proactive measures—legal, social, and cultural—to safeguard the country’s sovereignty.

Collaborative Effort

The Akhand Bharat Diwas celebration was organized by Rashtriya Hindu Front, Assam Pradesh, in association with several allied organizations including the Hindu Yuva Chhatra Parishad (Assam), Hindu Suraksha Sena (Assam), Hindu Rashtra Dabi Samiti (Assam), and Sri Sri Jorabari Satra Punaruddhar Samiti. Organizers noted that such collaborations were essential to amplify the message of unity and reach grassroots communities.

An Appeal to Citizens

The RHF leadership concluded the programme with an appeal for citizen participation in the cause of national integrity. They urged people to remain vigilant against divisive ideologies, support government measures to strengthen border security, and contribute to cultural initiatives that reinforce a shared Indian identity.

The Akhand Bharat Diwas observance in Guwahati thus served not only as a cultural event but also as a political and social call to action. With participation from diverse groups, it reinforced the Rashtriya Hindu Front’s long-standing mission—active since 2013—of building a united, secure, and culturally confident India.
