Reimagining Research in Needonomics Framework Takes Center Stage at National Conference, S. D. Government Degree College, Nauhatta (Bihar)
Nauhatta, Rohtas (Bihar), 21st November: The Sub-Divisional Government Degree College, Nauhatta (a constituent unit of Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara), organized a Multi-Disciplinary National Conference on “Advanced and Innovative Research Techniques for Effective Data Analysis.” Prof. Madan Mohan Goel, Former Pro Vice-Chancellor, VKSU; three-time Vice-Chancellor; and Propounder Needonomics School of Thought, delivered the inaugural address on “Reimagining Research: Integrative and Innovative Techniques for Data Analysis in the Needonomics Framework.”
The event was presided over Prof. (Dr.) Mahendra Nath Pandey, principal of Shersah college, Sasaram. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Tripathi, Principal and Convener, delivered the welcome address, while Dr. Nitu Devi, S. B. College, Ara presented a citation highlighting Prof. M. M. Goel’s academic achievements.
Prof. Goel explained that reimagining research within the Needonomics framework means moving beyond numbers to embrace a multidisciplinary, human-centric, and value-based approach to data.
To restore ethical balance between need and greed, he called for research that integrates material rigor with moral reasoning. This integrative perspective encourages collaboration across economics, sociology, behavioral sciences, and emerging technologies.
He emphasized that innovation in data analysis is not limited to adopting new tools but involves rethinking how data generates meaning. Within Needonomics, innovation implies contextual and narrative analytics, participatory approaches, and digital methods—using AI, IoT, and Big Data responsibly with attention to ethics, privacy, and human dignity.
Prof. Goel asserted that reimagining research is a cultural transformation that positions scholars not merely as data collectors but as value cultivators. Research, he said, must be an act of service, truth-seeking, and social upliftment.
Highlighting opportunities and challenges across disciplines, he urged participants to adopt Needonomics insights to conduct research aligned with simplicity, morality, practicality, responsiveness, and transparency.
Introducing the concept of “street SMART” researchers—Simple, Moral, Action-oriented, Responsive, and Transparent, Prof Goel said this model offers a practical roadmap for sustainable development and contributes to the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
