New Delhi, 17th Jan: The President’s Secretariat on Saturday announced that public visits to Rashtrapati Bhavan (Circuit-1) will remain closed from January 21 to January 29, 2026.
According to an official notification issued by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), the temporary suspension of visits is being implemented in view of the upcoming Republic Day Parade and the Beating Retreat Ceremony.
During this period, general public entry, guided tours, and museum visits under Circuit-1 will remain suspended. The move is part of routine security and logistical arrangements undertaken every year ahead of Republic Day celebrations.
Officials clarified that normal public visits to Rashtrapati Bhavan will resume after January 29, once the ceremonial events conclude.
Visitors planning trips during this period have been advised to check official updates before scheduling their visit.
