New Delhi, 27th Jan. Interesting Fact about Lord Ramlala
Ever since Ramlala was placed in the Lord Shri Ram Lalla shrine in Ayodhya, there has been a continuous flow of devotees. Even today, the crowd remains strong, with 500,000 people witnessing the Lord in his toddler form on the very first day. Amidst all the excitement, some details about the recently constructed Ramlala statue, housed in the Ram mandir, have come to light.
Unlike any other stone
According to all of the material obtained by the media, which cites experts, the 51-inch-tall and 200 kg idol of Ramlala is made of granite that is 2.5 billion years old rather than any regular stone. It is unaffected by either carbon or water. Despite all of the weather changes, this stone doesn’t change. Because the color of this rock is similar to that of Lord Krishna, it is also known as “Krishna Shila.”
Nothing affects this stone in terms of weather
The National Institute of Rock Mechanics’ Director, HH Venkatesh, has provided information on this. This group inspects stones and boulders used in nuclear power plant and dam building in Bharat. They characterized this rock as a granite stone. This is unaffected by any kind of climate.
Lava is melted to create granite stone
He described how the same lava melted during the Earth’s formation, creating granite stones and causing enormous explosions. These are incredibly sturdy stones. It remains unaffected by changing weather. At the same time, scientists claimed that this stone is from the Precambrian period, which began 4 billion years ago; in other words, scientists believe that this stone dates back to the beginning of life.
For a millennium, the stone will remain unchanged
Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of Science, has also declared recently that the Ram Lalla mandir is being constructed with technology that will not affect it for a millennium. Its building is being made with the best technology and stones available. The statue’s stone came from the Karnataka village of Jaipura Hobli in Mysore. This place is renowned for its superior black granite stones.
The sculpture was carved by Arun Yogiraj
Arun Yogiraj is currently the most sought-after sculptor in the nation, deriving from a family line of distinguished Mysore artists spanning five generations. Arun Yogiraj constructed the idol of Ramlala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Champat Rai have both lauded Arun Yogiraj. Although he completed an MBA and did not initially wish to pursue sculpture, Arun inherited this art form and now sculpts numerous historical figures.
Several statues by Yogiraj were created
Many additional sculptures crafted by Arun have been unveiled by Prime Minister Modi. Yogiraj prepared both the statues of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate in Delhi and Jagadguru Shankaracharya in Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand. Arun Yogiraj also sculpted the 21-foot statue of Lord Hanuman at Mysore at the same time.
