Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’: Bengal Governor Writes to Chief Secretary on Security Arrangements in State

Kolkata, 18th Jan. Bengal Governor, CV Ananda Bose, on Thursday wrote to Chief Secretary BP Gopalika regarding concerns about potential law and order issues in West Bengal during the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
The Governor has requested details of the security arrangements in the state.
An official from Raj Bhavan confirmed that an email has been sent to Gopalika, and a physical copy will also be forwarded.
The Governor wants to be informed about the arrangements made by the state government on January 22.
Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced a ‘Sampriti Rally’ on the same day, prompting the leader of the opposition, Suvendu Adhikari, to request the Calcutta High Court to postpone the rally.
