Rajnath Singh’s Bollywood-Inspired Jab at Congress

Bikaner, 8th April.
In a scathing attack on the Congress party, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh used Bollywood analogies to mock its alleged association with corruption, stating that whenever Congress forms government, corruption follows, akin to a recurring theme in Bollywood songs.

Addressing a rally in Bikaner and Jhunjunu, Rajasthan, Singh invoked popular Bollywood tunes from the movies “Ek Duuje Ke Liye” and “Maine Pyar Kiya” to drive home his point. Comparing the Congress’s purported relationship with corruption to the title of the movie “Ek Duuje Ke Liye” (For the Sake of Each Other), he suggested a parallel between the two.

Singh further drew a connection between Congress governance and the song “Aaja Sham Hone Aayee…tu chal mai aayee” from the movie “Maine Pyar Kiya,” insinuating that corruption inevitably follows when Congress assumes power.

Advocating for the implementation of ‘One Nation One Election,’ Singh emphasized the need for synchronized elections across the nation to optimize time, resources, and efficiency. He highlighted the opposition from the Congress party to this initiative, asserting that it is in the nation’s best interest.

Singh commended the Rajasthan government’s efforts in maintaining law and order, crediting Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma for significant improvements in the state’s security landscape.

Asserting BJP’s commitment to national progress and non-sectarian politics, Singh contrasted the party’s people-centric approach with Congress’s alleged dynastic orientation. He underscored the Modi government’s clean governance record, contrasting it with Congress’s history of corruption scandals and ministerial indictments.
