Jaipur, 2nd Aug: Dr. Amrita Duhan, an IPS officer of the 2016 batch, has taken the Rajasthan state government to court over the non-resolution of her “pay fixation” issue. The matter was heard recently at the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Jaipur Bench.

Dr. Duhan, a native of Haryana who currently serves as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Ganganagar, filed the case after her repeated requests to the state government on the matter went unheeded.

The hearing for Dr. Duhan’s case took place on July 28, the same day as another hearing involving a different IPS officer, Pankaj Chaudhary. The case, titled “Pankaj Chaudhary, IPS vs. State Government,” concerns his promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG). Chaudhary, a 2009-batch IPS officer, has also previously raised objections to several decisions made by the state government.
