Jaipur, 15th July. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal of revised financial provision of Rs 23 crore 33 lakh for upgrading rural water supply scheme to urban water supply scheme in the newly formed municipality Thanagazi (Alwar).
With the Chief Minister’s decision, proper drinking water arrangements will be made in Thanagazi municipal area, providing relief to the common man from the drinking water problem.
It is worth noting that the Chief Minister announced a financial provision of Rs 21.86 crore in the 2022-23 budget for upgrading the Rural Water Supply Scheme (RWSS) to the Urban Water Supply Scheme (UWSS) in Thanagazi Municipality. The department sent a proposal for revised financial sanction of Rs.23.33 crore based on the estimated cost based on the new BSR-2022. The municipal area’s drinking water problem will be resolved soon after the above proposal is approved.
