Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s Father Passes Away at 81

Jodhpur, 9th July: Daulal Vaishnaw, father of Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, passed away on Tuesday morning at AIIMS Jodhpur. He was 81 years old and had been critically ill for the past few days. According to an official statement issued by AIIMS Jodhpur, he breathed his last at 11:52 AM despite all possible medical efforts.

“It is with profound sorrow that we inform you of the demise of Hon’ble Railway Minister’s father, Shri Daulal Vaishnaw, today on 08 July 2025 at 11:52 AM at AIIMS Jodhpur,” the hospital said.

The news of his passing has deeply saddened not only his family but also acquaintances and well-wishers, many of whom took to social media to express their grief and condolences.

Political Leaders Extend Condolences

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed sorrow on social media platform X, stating:

“The news of the death of Dau Lal Vaishnav, father of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, is extremely sad. My condolences are with the bereaved family. May God grant a place to the holy soul at His feet and give strength to the family in this hour of grief.”

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also mourned the loss, posting:

“The news of the death of Dau Lal Vaishnav, the revered father of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, is very sad. May God give a place to the noble soul in His lotus feet and give strength to the bereaved family in this difficult time.”
