Rahul Gandhi ‘Immature, Non-Serious & Undemocratic’: Anurag Thakur on Mimicry Row

Chennai, 23rd Dec. Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting and Youth and Sports Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur was in Chennai on December 22. During his visit, Thakur launched the urban vehicles of the Bharat Sankalp Yatra and MY Bharat program, which were developed at AM Jain College in Chennai.

In the evening, he inaugurated the Khelo India Youth Games at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai.

Earlier in the afternoon, Thakur had a meaningful discussion with social media influencers at Hotel Residency.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai on the sidelines of these programs, Anurag Thakur described the INDI alliance as a failed attempt to create a rift between the North and South of India. He said that the INDI alliance is engaged in spreading false propaganda against Sanatan. They only know how to create false narratives. These people want to create a rift between North India and South India with their words and behavior. These people associated with the Tukde Tukde gang also want to see India in pieces, he said.

On the question related to Rahul Gandhi, Anurag Thakur said that his behavior is immature, non-serious and undemocratic. He said, “Rahul Gandhi ji’s conduct inside and outside the House is shameful. During the anarchy spread by the youth inside the House, when other MPs were trying to control the situation, a scared Rahul Gandhi, showing complete irresponsibility, walked away from there too. Slipped away quietly. Ran away from the house, now mourning on the road.”

Describing the defeat of the opposition in the recent assembly elections as creating a rift among them, Anurag Thakur said, “Today the tone of all the parties of the Indian alliance has changed. Everyone is speaking differently. The country had expected that the opposition would also come together on the issue of spreading anarchy in Parliament but in that also they could not stand with the country. This had not happened before till date. Earlier all the parties used to come together and advocate for the security of the MP and the country. This time also the Speaker had tried to take his suggestions by calling an all party meeting but they preferred to do politics instead of giving suggestions.”

Anurag Thakur further said that during the entire assembly session, the opposition did not come to discuss public issues and very important bills. This shows that they are not concerned with public issues. After the huge defeat in the elections, their mental balance has deteriorated. The election defeat has shattered the pride of the arrogant alliance.

Terming the Trinamool MP making fun of Honorable Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Rahul Gandhi taking its video as shameful, Anurag Thakur said, “If any MP was doing misdeeds then Rahul Gandhi should have stopped him but Rahul Gandhi himself participated in it. Instead of respecting the dignity of constitutional posts, Rahul Gandhi has insulted them. Instead of apologizing to the entire country, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi’s mouths have been stitched. It is extremely unfortunate that a family which has been in power for 60 years degrades constitutional posts. Respected Dhankar ji has risen from a very ordinary family to the post of Vice President. The Jat community, farmers and the entire country will never forgive them.”

“Even before this, the opposition had made many unrestrained statements against the Prime Minister and the Honorable President, but the public had responded to them. This time too, the public will respond to the opposition,” said Thakur.
